This month we lit up the BT Tower in celebration of Radianz’s 15th
birthday.

Since its launch 15 years ago, Radianz has been a driving force of innovation.
Today our community members are as keen as ever to find new ways to grow,
address regulations and drive efficiencies.
Fifteen years ago, Radianz launched with a strapline of ‘One community. One
connection. One focus’. This message is as true today as it was then.
The Radianz Cloud was launched in 2000 and has evolved with the market and the
changing needs of BT’s clients. It established the world’s largest financial services
community and then grew to encompass managed hosting in more than 20 data
centres globally, where significant clusters of capital markets organisations are
present.
It’s part of BT’s ‘Cloud of Cloud’ vision to give firms greater control over how they

Top Waters awards for BT Radianz
Awards have been coming thick and fast for BT Radianz.
The BT Radianz Cloud, won the
Best Cloud Provider to the Sell Side in the Waters Sell-Side Technology Awards 2015.

We also took home the top spot in the trading network category: Best Sell-Side Trading Network.
"One component that set Radianz apart is its ability to seamlessly guide clients throughout their trades via all the services offered. Whether it is during pre-trade (BT Netrix), trade (BT Radianz) or post-trade (BT SettleNet), BT’s trading network offers a complete solution to its customers," said the publication.

BT makes it easy for global investors to trade on Japan's financial markets
BT Radianz Cloud now offers international access to the equities and derivatives markets of the Japan Exchange Group (JPX), Asia’s biggest financial trading group and the third largest in the world. Groundbreaking work by BT and Barclays saw the two companies come out on top in the Best Use of Technology in Customer Service category at the 2015 FStech Awards.

Festivities were on the agenda at BT Tower on 16 June to celebrate Radianz’s 15 years of supporting the world’s largest secure financial services community.
The celebrations will continue throughout the year with events in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo.
Fifteen years ago the financial services landscape was a very different place.
Back in 2000, the concept of sending a tweet, or messaging a friend via facebook were all unheard of, and words like "platform", "cloud", "community" and "collaboration" would have sounded very tech city.
But then, as today, our vision was to have a simple service-orientated platform for the financial community. And fifteen years on, BT Radianz takes much of the credit for shifting attitudes towards cloud services and making them a critical element of capital market infrastructures.
We have some big plans afoot for the future too: read more in this issue about how we plan to give small fintech companies the chance to join our community and help Radianz community members to meet regulations, drive efficiencies and identify new opportunities to grow.
