Thomson Reuters Financial Community network on BT Radianz


The launch of the Thomson Reuters Financial Community Network brings good news for new and existing BT Radianz Cloud members and for financial market participants around the globe.

The Financial Community Network is a Thomson Reuters application delivery program designed to help customers access its Financial & Risk Business Unit’s range of products and services.

Delivered in elegant and intuitive ways, these Thomson Reuters products and services provide critical news, information, analytic and transaction capabilities for trading, investing and financial and corporate professionals, as well as leading regulatory and operational risk management solutions. They help customers discover profitable insights and opportunities, access liquidity, drive efficiency in business and operations, anticipate risk and ensure compliance and cover all the major financial markets – equity, fixed income, commodities and foreign exchange. 

A readily exploitable community

The Financial Community Network is now available on the BT Radianz Cloud, the world’s largest secure networked financial community and a Thomson Reuters approved connectivity option. 

BT Radianz is a readily exploitable community of several thousand already connected customers, via a global network of over 100 countries and over 20 finance market data centres. The community comprises over 400 of the world’s leading financial service providers and several thousand market participants, including brokers, exchanges, market data providers, analytics and clearing firms all over the world. Between them they already offer something in excess of 2,000 distinct applications via BT Radianz.

a quick and easy way to access these important applications 

BT’s services reach to over 170 countries around the world, enabling organisations in almost any country to access Thomson Reuters Financial Community Network over the BT Radianz Cloud quickly and securely. For existing BT Radianz Cloud customers this represents a quick and easy way to access these important applications. 

BT Radianz offers comprehensive access to content, applications and services across the entire trading cycle for all asset classes. New and existing BT Radianz members can already access Thomson Reuters Messenger, Eikon Wealth Management, Eikon Hosted Private Network, Elektron Connect and Autex.

Additional services coming soon include Datascope and Thomson Reuters FXT and other new services are also set to be delivered via the Network too.

BT Radianz is architected, deployed and operated specifically for the financial markets and consolidates all of your external market connectivity on to a single connection, simplifying integration, while ensuring fast, secure and reliable access to service providers and trading partners. It is associated with an end-to-end fixed line infrastructure, based on the industry leading BT Global Network which has been successfully used to deliver Thomson Reuters’ services for over 10 years. This means that it is separate from the internet and offers enhanced security. 

All Radianz services are designed as resilient platforms operated specifically to meet the requirements of financial markets participants.
