BT has scooped six awards for its successful partnership with Cisco

At the Cisco Partner Summit 2013, held in Boston recently, BT came away with no less than six awards – recognition of its expertise in Cisco solutions.

BT Retail chief executive Gavin Patterson said: "We are delighted to receive six awards from Cisco this year, in particular in areas like borderless networks and collaboration.

"Cisco and BT keep enjoying a strong and extensive partnership after more than 20 years of close collaboration worldwide."

Cisco vice-president, EMEAR Partner Organisation, Milo Schacher said: "Cisco values the efforts and contributions of its partners and it is an honour to recognise BT as a Cisco Partner Summit EMEAR award winner.

"The EMEAR service provider partner of the year award presented to BT recognises its stellar performance and extensive expertise as a Cisco partner."

All winners of the awards are selected by a panel of executives from Cisco's global and regional teams.

BT's winning haul included:

  • Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia (EMEAR) service provider partner of the year
  • UK and Ireland architectural excellence borderless networks partner of the year
  • UK and Ireland enterprise partner of the year
  • US service provider - architectural excellence collaboration
  • EMEAR North theatre services partner of the year
  • France enterprise partner of the year.
